It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit. ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

Halloween potluck & costume show at Country View

Monday, November 7, 2011

CoCo and Joe had no idea what they were in for when we showed up Sunday morning for the Halloween potluck, costume show, and party.
She may have run away had she known.

We turned CoCo into a pinata!

Bless her heart!

Parading.

I love this picture. He took his job so seriously!

Poor Joe. He is a boy, by the way.
How humiliating for him.

Devin with Munchkin as a racecar!
Too cute!

Dedra and Cheyenne - Angry Birds.

Little Red Riding Hood & The Big Bad Wolf.

Jester Josse and his assistant, Hannah.

Haley carried Princess Chloe and her royal steed.

Tristin as Little Bo Peep with Piper as her sheep.

Poor mule. He wanted to be involved, but nobody made him a costume.

Saying goodbye to CoCo.

He pulls his weight when it comes to CoCo. He will carry the leadrope & halter all day long if I'd let him. See that saddle soap in his sombrero? That's his prize. FIRST prize. :)

I love that horse. She is so patient, so gentle, so kind. I am thankful for her!
