It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit. ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

Jeremiah's First Train Ride

Wednesday, November 2, 2011

After our All Hallow's Eve visit to Midway Village, we decided to go on the "Train of Terror". We were more interested in the "train" part, as Jeremiah is obsessed with trains and we thought he would really enjoy it. It wasn't a very scary ride, and there were a lot of kids his age there.

Well, I'm not always the most organized person. It was warm that day, and I forgot to take into consideration that he had been wearing his costume. I forgot to bring him a coat. He got to wear Daddy's hoodie!

There were lots of little scenes set up along the train route. Some were silly, like the little cemetery with the girls dancing to "Thriller", and some were spookier, but all in all, it was fun.

I didn't get very many pictures - it got dark quickly and my camera is not good with low light!

The best part of the night for Jeremiah was getting a glow bracelet, I think!
